1. To associate with Government of Kerala for rendering better medical facilities to the patients in Medical College hospitals and other government hospitals.
2. To construct and adequate number of pay wards for the accommodation
   and treatment of patients in the hospitals of the state with the help of financial
   Institutions and contributions from Government of Kerala.
3. To undertake other works on behalf of the government or any other body, which the government may authorize the society to undertake
4. To arrange for research social and economic conditions of the patients.
5. Advanced Clinical Labs, CT Scan centre, Cath Labs, Ultra Sound Scan unit etc.

The control and administration of the society is vested with the Governing Body chaired by the Minister for Health with Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department as the Vice Chairman. The convener of the Governing Body is the M imaging Director of the Society.
